Tongue twister

Un tongue-twister (trabalenguas) es una frase o varias seguidas que son difíciles de pronunciar porque contienen muchos sonidos similares. El objetivo es repetirlo tantas veces seguidas como sea posible (rápido, por supuesto), sin equivocaciones. Sirven para coger soltura con el idioma y practicar esos sonidos que nos resultan más complicados. Con frecuencia son usados en las clases como ejercicio para desarrollar una dicción ágil. Por ejemplo:

She sells sea-shells on the sea-shore.
The shells she sells are sea-shells, I'm sure.
For if she sells sea-shells on the sea-shore
Then I'm sure she sells sea-shore shells.

I thought a thought
But the thought I thought
Was not the thought
I thought I thought.

A big black bug bit a big black bear,
made the big black bear bleed blood.

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.
